To celebrate the 100th birthday of the Duxbury Art Association, I will be speaking Wednesday July 26 at 7:30 the Ellison Center for the Arts in Duxbury, Massachusetts. The discussion will cover the first and second exhibitions of the DAA, of which Frank W. Benson was a founder.
On July 27th at 4p.m. I’ll be giving a talk “The Sporting Art of Frank W. Benson” at the Hotel 1620, 180 Water Street,Plymouth, MA 02360.
A third talk will be at the Watermen’s Center on North Haven Island, at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, August 16. That will be followed by cocktails at the Wooster Farm Barn, where Frank W. Benson had his summer studio.
